DR VISHAKHA MAHAJAN

Vishakha was born in Mumbai, India and completed her Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University, USA in 2014 followed by her Master of Science in Reproductive and Developmental Biology from Imperial College, London in 2016.

In her pursuit of understanding diseases better, she then carried on with her PhD. in Molecular Biology at The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her PhD research focused on understanding the molecular basis of a disturbed hormonal balance seen in endometrial cancer.

Currently, she is working as a Scientist at The cGP Lab, New Zealand and is focused on better understanding the role of hormone, IGF-1 in brain health and cognitive function and its subsequent application in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical developments.
